Hopem firmly believes that a successful implementation depends not only on the quality and stability of the components but also on the strength of an implementation methodology adapted to our customers specific needs
We have many years of experience in implementing computerized solutions. Over time we have put in place proven processes that allow us to meet the goals set out by our customers in a timely manner.
Flexible enough for a variety of deployment our methodology allows us to identify and comprehensively integrate all your business needs. This methodology consists of several crucial steps contributing to the success of the implementation.
PLANNING
Project planning includes various activities to ensure its deliverables. The project manager and the project office manager in collaboration with the product managers ensure the development of the project organization manual (POM). This manual contains the project management procedures used throughout the project.
This activity makes it possible to present an update of the situation for each project coordination committee meeting. It allows you, among other things, to review the project deliverables progress and achievement in accordance with the planning previously established.
CURRENT PROCESSES ANALYSIS
This step is this project’s cornerstone. It allows, among other things, to highlight areas of convergence as well as the differences between your current and future processes. To make that happened, we meet the users, the team leaders, the different program managers, and the archivists. We have to check the tools currently available to users in the course of their work and enter data, analyze, verify, and, propose ways allowing the customer to improve processes related to the arrival of a computerized tool. This process starts as soon as the software is presented.
PROCESSES HARMONIZATION
During this stage, it is crucial for us to understand the functional needs sought and targeted by the project. Therefore we need to document adequately the functional requirements described as part of the project. A summary document including the results of current processes and functional analysis is then presented to the members of the customer’s board members . The new process harmonization plan is also presented.
TRYOUTS
To ensure that all new modules meet the customer’s expectations with regard to the installation, training, and equipment related to it, data conversion, and software features validation, we conduct testing in a test environment before undertaking settlement activities in the real environment.
TRAINING
For each training sessions, a strategy is developed in collaboration with the client to adapt them to their needs. In addition, a plan is put in place always in collaboration with the client in order to adapt the training schedule and content to meet their needs.
Training is provided at your premises.
SUPPORT AND STARTUP
The software implementation marks the beginning of the project’s realization in the production environment. From the software installation in the real environment to the final conversion of data from the different systems, users begin to apply the new processes and working methods that they were taught during the trial period.
Our experience in systems transition allows us to structure our approach to implementation. The sustained customers support allows us to secure them about changes. It allows us to understand their different ways of working by introducing them to the new system and by accompanying them in the first moments of use in production mode.
